- Visa announced this week that it has suspended the prepaid services it offers through third-party provider ePassporte.com. The services have been suspended for an undetermined amount of time
- The country does not have enough qualified cybersecurity specialists. At least that's the way Patrick Gorman, former associate director of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, sees it. This week, Gorman shares his views about what government and business can do to quickly address this growing brain-drain concern; and
- Insider threats, PCI and risk management are growing issues. Editorial Director Tom Field says financial institutions will have a lot to focus on in coming months. With organized crime suspected of being behind 85 percent of the data breach schemes reported in 2009, coupled with the unbreakable bond between business strategy and risk management, banking institutions have their hands full.
