FireEye and Verizon Enterprise Solutions have partnered to offer Verizon managed services and FireEye advanced threat protection capabilities. The companies say the combination of FireEye technology and Verizon managed security services capabilities can help improve an organization's ability to identify and stop advanced attacks, while providing insight into threats.

As part of the agreement, Verizon clients will have access to the FireEye Mobile Threat Prevention offering. Verizon security analysts will correlate FireEye events with system-wide security alerts to improve the threat detection process and transform an organization's security capabilities to meet the needs of the modern threat landscape.

ForeScout, McAfee Deliver Endpoint Protection

ForeScout Technologies has partnered with McAfee to provide new interoperability between ForeScout CounterACT and McAfee solutions. The combined abilities of ForeScout products, McAfee products and the McAfee Data Exchange Layer will enable customers to protect infrastructure while supporting initiatives such as bring your own device, the companies say.

ForeScout CounterACT will leverage the McAfee Threat Intelligence Exchange to make enforcement and remediation decisions based on security information shared between endpoints, gateways and other security products.

Accellion Launches Two-Factor Authentication Solution

Accellion announced that it has enhanced its enterprise-grade security features by including two-factor authentication, boostings the existing kiteworks authentication process to increase the security protections available to corporations and government customers.

The kiteworks two-factor authentication can be configured per user profile, enabling administrators to determine if all standard users must use the capability, or just restricted users. Kiteworks security also includes secure mobile container that ensures the security and compliance of all content stored locally on a mobile device.

Lumeta and Tripwire Announce Integration Availibility

Lumeta and Tripwire have announced the availability of a connector that integrates the Tripwire IP360 vulnerability management solution and the Lumeta IPsonar network situational awareness solution.
