"One of the problems is that even though leadership has been more informed, they still have a tendency to not see identity as a business enabler," he says. "Some of the bigger organizations still have a problem with culture."

In a video interview at Information Security Media Group's recent Mumbai Security Summit, Malmström discusses:

  • The evolving approach to identity management;
  • The emergence of IoT, bots and non-human identities;
  • Automated lifecycle management and other emerging trends.

Malmström, CEO of Nexus Group, has nearly 20 years of experience in product management and product marketing positions within mobility and secure identities. He formerly served as director of product marketing for HID mobile access at the ASSA ABLOY subsidiary, HID Global. Prior to that, he held several managerial positions at innoPath and SmartTrust.
