An organization has successfully implemented a “zero trust” framework when it can achieve context-aware resolution of a risk, says Dr. Siva Sivasubramanian, CISO of SingTel Optus, an Australian telecommunications firm.

In a video interview with Information Security Media Group, Subramanian discusses some use cases for deploying “zero trust.” He also offers insights on:

  • Evolving governance structures for the zero trust model;
  • Ways to manage the stakeholders in the zero trust journey;
  • Success metrics for implementation.

Sivasubramanian has been CISO for SingTel Optus since 2002. He has IT experience from working for organizations around the world. He previously was global chief of security at Airtel and served as the CTO/CIO at Universal Studios in the U.S. and chief architect at Siemens.
