RSA: People Are Talking
New Video Interviews Offer Insights on Hot Topics
These videos will be posted soon on our conference coverage page, but I want to share some of the highlights with you now. Among the folks I met:
- Ori Eisen, founder and chief innovation officer of 41st Parameter. You may remember Ori as a panelist in the Fight Back Against Fraud session I hosted a few months back. The topic of this week's discussion was again fraud - specifically, detection. Ori's got some unique insights on what works/what needs work in fraud detection, and I think you'll particularly enjoy his take on "Who watches the watchers."
- Samuel Visner, VP of cyber strategy for CSC. As you may know, CSC was a sponsor of our recent State of Government Information Security Today survey, and in our discussion we picked up on a couple of relevant themes: the future of cybersecurity legislation and the evolving definition of cybercrime. Sam, too, has a valuable perspective you'll enjoy.
- Bob Russo, general manager of the PCI Security Standards Council. Fresh from the latest PCI update, Russo is busy now launching a new PCI awareness program, and he's just as eager as all of us to see what new guidance will be forthcoming on emerging technologies such as tokenization and point-to-point encryption. Bob, as always, is enthusiastic and candid about his work. Take some time to watch and listen.
Russo is as eager as all of us to see what new guidance will be forthcoming on emerging technologies.
These and other new video interviews will be posted soon on our RSA Conference 2011 coverage page. There you'll find videos, scores of audio interviews and our daily coverage from the event.
