"COVID-19 has solidified the thought process that the perimeter no longer exists; it is now all about remote work and BYOD," he says.

"To start with, one should invest in remote browser isolation, MFA, single sign-on and software-defined perimeter," says Cunningham, who will be a speaker at Information Security Media Group's Virtual Cybersecurity Summit: Zero Trust to be held Feb. 2-3.
