Fraud, Cloud, Security Dominate the Discussions
Coverage of RSA Conference 2011
RSA Conference 2011 was held recently in the U.S., and Information Security Media Group was on hand to cover and participate in the event in a number of unique ways.

RSA is the world's top annual information security event. For the second consecutive year, ISMG was a platinum media sponsor of the event, and as such we hosted a media suite in which we conducted a series of video interviews with noted industry leaders. Two of particular note:

  • Bob Russo of the PCI Security Standards Council talks about what to expect this year in the ongoing refinement of the global payment card security standard/
  • Hord Tipton of (ISC)2 discusses the results of a new global workforce survey and what it means the future of information security in all regions and sectors.
In addition to the video interviews, ISMG also conducted a series of audio podcast interviews with scores of thought-leaders from the world's top security vendors. Hear what these leaders have to say about key topics such as cloud computing, fraud, and the role of information security in today's business organizations.

Executive Editor Eric Chabrow was on hand to provide daily news and views of the event. He also presented the results of the inaugural Government Information Security Today survey.

And as an RSA Conference 2011 exclusive, we offered and invitation-only briefing on results and analysis of our recent Faces of Fraud survey, featuring special guest Stephen Nix of the U.S. Secret Service, discussing international law enforcement efforts.

For these and other features, please be sure to check out the RSA Conference 2011 multimedia coverage page.
